20 x 40 cm convex sign, fixed on this establishment until it was replaced by a company of electricity in the 1920's.
The laundry was existing before 1914 and washed the sheets and household linen for hotels of Caen (Calvados, France). Then from
1914 to 1918 it's got the job of washing uniforms and clothes from the army . Sole copy, except if the enameller has botched one! (except if the enameller has botched a copy)! This sign has been produced by an emaillery which has mentioned his customer's name. This customer sold the sign to the enterprise.
